Photographer Excellence Award Winner – Tracey Clements
Congratulations to Tracey Clements of Wye Valley Studios who has been chosen as winner of the latest SuperDog Photographer Excellence Awards!
The awards were formed to recognise the quality of photography among our Approved and Recommended studios and are judged by a representative of our charity partner Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Three of Tracey’s entries were selected for their excellence in the latest SuperDog of the Month competition and, as a winner, she receives £50 and a winner’s certificate.
We caught up with Tracey to get her reaction to her success: “We were thrilled to bits to be chosen as SuperDog Photographer of the Month by Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
Since joining SuperDog and being fortunate enough to have had many monthly winners which we are able to display in our studio window, our pet photography has been busier than ever.
I love the challenge of trying to capture their unique personalities and they are all so different! I still enjoy it as much now as when we won our first professional award with Kodak back in the early nineties with a photo of three Westies. Thank you Superdog, we are pleased as punch!”
Tracey has been at Wye Valley Studios for over forty years, achieving distinctions in her photography with many top national and regional awards.
She has lectured throughout the UK on pet photography and has been the UK Pet Photographer of the Year on two occasions and the Welsh MPA Pet Photographer of the Year several times, as well as a Kodak European Gold Award and many Awards of Excellence and Merits. She has also gone on to achieve several SuperDog of the Month and Baby of the Month winning images.
Based in Caldicot which is a growing town and is well situated between the two Severn Bridges, with the beautiful Wye Valley, and even has a Castle and David Broome’s Equestrian Centre nearby.
Congratulations from everyone at SuperDog to Tracey!
