Photographer Excellence Award Winner – John Woods

Congratulations to John Woods who has been chosen as winner of the latest SuperDog Photographer Excellence Awards!

The awards were formed to recognise the quality of photography among our Approved and Recommended studios and are judged by a representative of our charity partner Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Three of John’s entries were selected for their excellence in the latest SuperDog of the Month competition and, as a winner, he receives £50 and a winner’s certificate.

We caught up with John to get his reaction:

I’m naturally thrilled that our studio has been chosen as a winner. The competition has been very popular, and we look forward to providing more images this year and raising money for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in 2024.”

John’s business is located in Huddersfield. Established in 1987, the studio is located in Byram Arcade and has remained there for over 35 years. John has achieved Licentiate status with the Master Photographers Association (MPA) and has won numerous awards for his photography.

His studio is known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and he is passionate about capturing natural expressions, emotions, and personalities in his clients’ photographs.

He offers a wide range of photography services including families, newborns, pets, corporate headshots, passport photos and weddings. He also offers a restoration service for old and damaged photographs and provides location photography for special events including graduations, proms, and balls.
