Congratulations to photographer Sarah James on achieving her first winning entry in the SuperDog of the Month competition!
Her image of Ayiah (French Bulldog) was popular with the Photographer and Sponsor judging panels, which means Ayiah’s owner will soon receive a £25 Pets at Home voucher. They will also receive automatic entry into the 2023 SuperDog of the Year competition for a chance to win £1000!
Sarah told us “I am so happy to have won my first SuperDog of the Month competition, what a great surprise! My client is going to be so thrilled, and I’m sure Ayia is going to love choosing a new toy at Pets at Home“.
Sarah started her career 27 years ago, initially as a part-time wedding assistant whilst studying photography where she worked alongside various well-known photographers on the South Coast. In 2006, she went solo and launched Sarah James photography, initially going mobile and shooting in people’s homes.
In 2011, Sarah took the plunge and opened her own studio specialising in portrait photography, photographing maternity, new-borns, babies, families and pets. Sarah prides herself in being able to offer a relaxed and stress-free environment for all her client’s sessions.
Sarah’s studio is situated in Fareham Town Centre, the historical old high street, within walking distance of the main shopping centre, with lots of cafes, public transport and parking nearby.
Sarah said, “I feel very privileged to be in the position as one of the last remaining high street portrait studios in the area, it takes hard work and constant commitment to a keep commercial property viable but I love our space and so do my clients which at end of each day, is the most important thing”.
