Congratulations to Hugo – SuperDog of the Year Winner! 🏆❤️🐶

French Bulldog Hugo has been named the winner of the SuperDog of the Year!

With 60 amazing images in our second annual competition, Hugo has claimed the title of SuperDog of the Year, with his image being popular with all our SuperDog judges.

To celebrate his win, Hugo’s owner Shauna will shortly receive a winner’s certificate and a cheque for £1000!

Hugo’s winning image was taken by photographer Stephen Hands (Barrett & Coe Romford), who has achieved several winning and Top-10 Finalist entries in past SuperDog of the Month competitions.

This is Stevens’s first success in our annual competition, and he told us:

“I’m so proud to be the winning photographer of ‘SuperDog of the Year’. Hugo was such fun to work with and lived up to the expectations I have when photographing French Bulldogs. But without Shauna’s help, I would never have managed the shoot. To get the best shots it takes teamwork but the reward is priceless. Congratulations to Hugo and Shauna and I am looking forward to many more successful shoots in the future.“

Hugo’s owner Shauna told us: “Hugo is such a brilliant member of our family and we’re so proud of him winning ‘SuperDog of the Year’. The prize money will be well spent on some extra treats for him, and towards his new baby brother due in two weeks. This win couldn’t come at a better time. Our thanks also go out to Steve for his excellent photography skills in creating the amazing images we have at home.”
