Second Winning Image in August for Individual Photography

Its a double success in the August SuperDog of the Month competition, who has achieved her second winning entry!

Her entry of Ted proved popular with our Dog Owner and Photographer  judging panels meaning Ted’s owners will shortly be receiving a £25 Pets at Home voucher, winners, and automatic entry in the 2019 SuperDog of the Year competition where it could be chosen to win £1000!

This is Jo’s third winning entry in our competition, and with images as good as Ted’s, we hope to see many more in the future! Commenting on her winning image, Jo told us, “If anyone is old enough to remember “Spit the Dog”, then Ted is a close as you are going to get to him. Scruffy as a street urchin, with cheek and charm by the bucketful. I am thrilled to have a second winner this month and Dad, Kevin, is proper proud of his boy being chosen as a SuperDog of the Month winner too.”

Jo runs Individual Photography in Cheddar, Somerset, and is passionate about photographing babies, children, families, and pets. She gained professional qualifications with the Master Photographers Association (MPA) and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and was awarded “Monochrome Photographer of the Year 2012” by the latter.

In 2013 the studio was relocated to much larger premises in Cheddar, and Jo is now able to accommodate larger family groups in one of the two studio areas. Never photographing more than two clients a day allows her the flexibility to fit in with times that are convenient for you.

If weekends or early evenings suit you better? Not a problem. Jo has a very easy-going nature which encourages you to relax and have fun during your shoot. This not only ensures you get great images, but that you enjoy your session too!

Jo’s aim is to fully understand what you want from your session. Do you already have an idea in mind of what you like (or don’t like?). Jo will get in touch prior to the shoot to discuss all of your needs. Knowing the answer to these questions helps her to understand and prepare so that she can get things absolutely perfect for you.

The pre-session meetings allow you to feel comfortable and relaxed, safe in the knowledge that you know what to expect and to look forward to the session itself. Jo also knows that having professional photographs might be a bit nerve-wracking or stressful, but she promises to put you at ease, and you’ll leave the studio thinking, “Wow, that was so much fun!

From the ample on-site parking to the choice of refreshments and facilities, Jo hopes that from the moment you arrive at the studio you will feel welcomed and comfortable.

Once your images have been edited (and Jo promises that you will recognise yourself – you won’t have been airbrushed to death), you will be invited back to choose your favourites. Argh, decisions, decisions!
