Three winning images for GWS Photography!

Congratulations to Grahame and Allison Smith of GWS Photography who have had three winning images in the latest SuperDog of the Month competition!

GWS are the first studio to achieve this accolade in our competition, and as first-time entrants, the SuperDog team is delighted for them. Their images of Alfie the Mini Dachshund, Winnie the Cockapoo, and Donnie the Staffordshire Bull Terrier were popular with all of our judging panels, which means their owners will soon receive a winner’s certificate and a £25 Pets at Home voucher. The images will also be part of the SuperDog of the Year competition where they could win £1000!

We caught up with them to get their reaction on winning: “We love doggy days in the studio and to scoop 3 prizes for our clients is amazing. All the clients entering get a real buzz from being asked to enter and it keeps their motivation with our studio high and if they win… super bonus”.

Grahame and Allison work together on every shoot, ensuring that everyone they meet is given the greatest care and attention. Grahame started off shooting bands and weddings back in the 80s and opened up GWS photography in 2010.

Since then, the team has won numerous awards including 2022 Scottish Pet Photographer of the Year and 2021 Portrait Photographer of the Year Scottish Master Photographers.

Situated a short drive from Edinburgh, the studio is the perfect choice for families who want to get away from the noise of the city for a relaxed and fun photoshoot. The rural studio has free and easy parking and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.

We had a great time at our photoshoot with Winnie our cockapoo, he was spoilt with treats and had so much fun playing. Hospitality was fabulous and the photos came out amazing! Recommend to everyone to capture pictures of your puppy before they grow.
